- Ume Blossom Flowers suiseki-stone
- Quarrying areas:
- Moji Ward, Kita Kyushu City, Fukuoka Pref.
This stone, taken from Moji, in the Fukuoka Prefecture is an example of a baika-seki suiseki viewing stone. The name for this category of stone literally means plum blossom. As the name suggests, these stones are adorned with crystalline features that look like plum flowers. On this hut-shaped stone, it appears as though a plum blossom has fallen on the roof.
