Information Regarding COVID-19
In order to stop the spread of COVID-19, please follow the advice below.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we humbly request that you follow these preventative guidelines when visiting our museum (See here for more details).
Also, in order to prevent clusters, we request that you remain apart from one another, whether alone or in a group.
Before Entry, Please Note
Please do not visit the museum if:
・You have a fever which is at least 1℃ more than your normal temperature.
・You have a sore throat or cough.
・You have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
The wearing of a mask is optional.
*Please note that you may be asked to wear a mask during events.
While Visiting the Museum
・Hand sanitizer is placed at the entrance, so please use it upon entry and exit.
・Upon entry we will check your temperature, so please cooperate.
・Please avoid physical contact with other visitors and remain apart.
・We may perform entry control depending on the number of visitors in order to prevent clusters.
・If possible, please try to use a card or e-money when paying the entry fee.
・Please keep your voice down within the museum.
・In order to prevent clusters, we request that our guests who come in groups also keep apart.
Suspended Services
The following are temporarily suspended:
・Guided tours of the Museum.
・The audio guide. Please use our Collection Guide instead.
・The touch panel in the gallery area.
Measure Taken to Prevent COVID-19
・Hand sanitizer is placed at the entrance.
・We are keeping doors open and using air ventilation to improve air quality.
・We are frequently cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, such as door handles and handrails.
・We have removed objects and suspended use of objects that visitors often touch.
・All of our museum staff wear masks when needed, wash our hands frequently, and take care of our health.
・We may perform entry control depending on the number of visitors.
・We will continue to be guided by relevant authorities’ guidelines and will provide updates to information concerning COVID-19.
