Omiya Bonsai Village Guide
The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is closed until March, but in the meantime, we will offer free guided tours of the Omiya Bonsai Village in English.
The Omiya Bonsai Village was founded in 1925 and has since become a must-see spot for bonsai artists worldwide.
Experience a free guided tour around the Omiya Bonsai Village. Explore the rich history of the area’s gardens and learn about some of the most beautiful bonsai each garden has to offer.
Village Guided Tour Dates
December: December 2, 6, 9, 13, 20, 23, 27
Guide Times: From 10 am and 2 pm
*The guide will last around 1 hour 30 minutes
Route: During the guide you will visit three gardens in the Omiya Bonsai Village.
*Depending on the time, the gardens you visit may be different.
Fee: Free
How to Join: Meet at the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum Front Gate (5 mins walk from JR Toro Station) at 10 am or 2 pm during tour days
