The Prologue Area has panels that introduce parts of our collection, such as bonki (bonsai pots), suiseki (decorative water stones), pictures, and both historical and folkloric materials. Additionally, there are panels that explain how to properly appreciate bonsai.The Prologue Area connects to the Main Gallery and the Zashiki-kazari Area where bonsai are displayed. Every week, five bonsai suited to the season are exhibited in the Main Gallery and three are exhibited in the Zashiki-kazari Area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"detail_btn\"><a href=\"\/en\/facilities\/service\/gallery\/\">See more<\/a><\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<dl>\n<dt><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonsai-art-museum.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/384ce21c9c0e9d58856390f00fb879fc.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p class=\"title\">Bonsai Garden<\/p>\n<p> The bonsai garden always has around 60 bonsai on display, allowing visitors to enjoy their changing beauty throughout the seasons. To mark the 100th anniversary of Omiya Bonsai Village, the garden underwent renovations in March 2025. A still water section was added to part of the pond and was designed as a reflecting pool. Bonsai placed on the peninsula-shaped stand reflect onto the water&#8217;s surface. Visitors can admire the bonsai not only from the garden paths surrounding the pond but also from various locations within the building, including the lobby and the second-floor terrace.\n <\/p>\n<p class=\"detail_btn\"><a href=\"\/en\/facilities\/service\/garden\/\">See more<\/a><\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"quad\">\n<h2>Service<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<dl>\n<dt><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonsai-art-museum.jp\/wp-content\/themes\/bonsai2023_2\/img_en\/facilities\/ban_exguide.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p class=\"title\">Exhibition Guide<\/p>\n<p>Exhibition guides are available to visitors to the museum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"detail_btn\"><a href=\"\/en\/facilities\/service\/audio\/\">See more<\/a><\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<dl>\n<dt><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonsai-art-museum.jp\/wp-content\/themes\/bonsai2023_2\/img_en\/facilities\/service_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p class=\"title\">Museum Shop<\/p>\n<p>In-house publications, such as photo journals, cotton hand towels and bonsai post cards are on sale at the museum shop along with other original bonsai merchandise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"btn_01\"><a href=\"\/en\/shop\/\">Museum shop<\/a><\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<dl>\n<dt><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonsai-art-museum.jp\/wp-content\/themes\/bonsai2023_2\/img_en\/facilities\/service_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/dt>\n<dd>\n<p class=\"title\">Photo Area<\/p>\n<p>The Lobby, the Bonsai Garden, and the Terrace are designated photo areas.
