Omiya Bonsai Art Museum　Special Night Light-Up Event
BONSAI CANVAS

In November 2025, we held a limited time light-up event in celebration of Omiya Bonsai Village’s 100th anniversary here at the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum.

Outline of the Light-Up

Dates　November 8, 9, 14-16, 21-24, 2025

Time　17:00 – 20:00
　　　　※Entrance open until 19:30

Contents

1．Magical Foggy Bonsai Garden
　Two times each evening, guests had the opportunity to experience lit up bonsai floating among fog, staging the world of BONSAI CANVAS.

2．Shadow Art Works
　There was a special display utilizing the lit up [Japanese Juniper (A-124)] in our bonsai garden. 

3．Student Art Projects (in collaboration with local high schools)
（1）Watercolor works created by students at Omiya Koryo High School in the Art and Calligraphy Department were displayed in the bonsai garden.
　

（2）Photo spot and PR videos created by students at Saitama Computer and Medical Administration Technical School.

4．Cafe Corner
　Bonsai Restaurant Omiya opened a Cafe Corner on our second-floor terrace.
　

5．Photo Contest
　We held a photo contest during the event. Participants entered by posting a photo they took of the event to Instagram with the tag #盆美deライトアップ2025.

6．Garden Visit Points gifted at each Bonsai Garden　
　QR Codes were placed in each garden in Bonsai Village offering 1 point a day per garden on the Saitama City Minna no apuri. 

7.　Free Shuttle Bus
　A free shuttle connecting the Omiya Station East Exit, the Saitama City Museum parking lot, and Omiya Bonsai Art Museum was offered November 14-16.
