* Volunteer guides provide tours the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum.
* Please note it’s not always possible to accept requests for a guide due to a lack of staff availability.

Welcome Monday!!

English guided tours on Mondays
On “Welcome Mondays”, the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum will start to offer English guided tours intended for inbound visitors to Japan.
As inbound visitors to Japan increase during the lead up to the Tokyo Olympics, the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum will hold “Welcome Mondays” each week during which volunteers provide on demand tours of the museum. Please come and join us!

Time: Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Capacity: Up to 20 visitors for each guide
Place: Loby of the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, the Collection Gallery and the Bonsai Garden
Cost: The tour is free, however visitors must pay the admission fee for the museum.
Admission Fee: General admission: ¥310 (¥200) / High school,University students and seniors over 65 ¥150 (¥100) / Elementary school students ¥100 (¥50)
*Prices in the ( ) are for groups of 20 or more.
*Guide for group visitors, Please make a reservation by the 15th of the preceding month.

Audio guide

Audio guides in four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean) are available to visitors to the museum.
Visitors can a listen to detailed explanations of each bonsai.
