With an overall hight of 1.6 meters and a width of over 1.8 meters, this is the largest bonsai owned by the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum and a source of pride. From the protruding root base grabbing at the soil, to the hulking body wriggling up, all the way to the massive canopy of rich needles all come together to instil in the viewer the robust life force of this tree.
