This piece features a raimon-patterned band on the body and a dragon in the style of ancient Chinese bronze ware, depicted using an appliqué technique. An inscription on the rim reads “Year of Dingwei,” suggesting it was made in 1907. It was formerly owned by Miyoji Ito, a Meiji-era politician with deep knowledge of bonsai who served as Minister of Agriculture and Commerce.
