The upper reaches of the Kamo-gawa River in Kyoto is well known for producing famous suiseki stones. This particular stone is warped at the edges making it look as thought it might float. The center of the stone then boasts a hollow that looks as though the stone has been naturally formed from having been beaten by the rain in a kind of suiseki stone often called “puddle stones”.
