Yase maguro-Ishi are found by the Takano River in Kyoto Prefecture. They are known for their subdued black tones. It is a type of suiseki known as a kuzuya-ishi, meaning a thatched-hut stone. As the name suggests, they are supposed to resemble houses with roof eaves.
