One of many paintings where the subject is children playing. In this painting, a mother is hanging a mosquito net while her child clings to her at her feet, frightened by the flashes of lightning that can be seen from inside. One can see a miniature garden on a tray that is thought to be a replica of Enoshima Island, just outside the room in the garden. A small fountain with a frog figure on it hangs above it.
