大宮盆栽村100周年記念特別展「緑のフロンティア―大宮盆栽村100年―」（10/3～12/10）

大宮盆栽美術館では、大宮盆栽村の開村100周年を記念し、盆栽村の歴史を振り返る特別展を開催します。
　本展覧会では、地図や古写真など村の景観の移り変わりがわかるビジュアル資料に加え、盆栽村の開拓に尽力した盆栽園の第一世代の歩みを物語る資料や、盆栽作りの技術を伝える資料などを展示します。
また、現在の盆栽村の盆栽園から各園を代表する名品盆栽を展示し、各園の特徴や魅力とともに紹介します。

会場：大宮盆栽美術館　企画展示室、ロビー、コレクションギャラリー
会期：令和７年10月3日（金）～12月10日（水）
　　　※盆栽は週替わり
休館日：木曜日

Omiya Bonsai Village 100th Anniversary Special Exhibition: “The Green Frontier—100 Years of Omiya Bonsai Village—” (October 3–December 10)

The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is hosting a special exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Omiya Bonsai Village, reflecting on the village's history.
　This exhibition features visual materials such as maps and historical photographs illustrating the village's changing landscape, alongside documents chronicling the efforts of the first generation of bonsai gardeners who pioneered the village, and materials conveying the techniques of bonsai cultivation.
Furthermore, it displays representative masterpieces from the current bonsai gardens within the village, introducing each garden's unique characteristics and appeal.

Venue: Omiya Bonsai Art Museum’s Exhibition Room, Lobby, and Collection Gallery
Dates: Friday, October 3rd - Wednesday, December 10th
*Bonsai displays change weekly
Closed Thursdays

企画展「盆石の流れ～伝書をたどる」
黒塗りの盆上に石を建て、白砂で山水景を描く縮景芸術「盆石」。
9名が織りなす、伝書（お手本）に基づいた景をご堪能ください。
期間：令和7年9月5日（金）～9月17日（水）
場所：ロビー・コレクションギャラリー
主催：さいたま市大宮盆栽美術館
協力：一般財団法人細川流盆石

Bonseki are beautiful miniature landscapes crafted with stones and white sand arranged on a black tray.
Let us take you on a journey to a monochrome world with nine bonseki pieces.

7月19日から始まった「ゆかたde盆美」も、いよいよ最終日となりました。
たくさんの方に和服でご来館いただき、とても風流な夏となりました🎐
ご来館いただいたみなさま、ありがとうございました！

本日令和7年8月31日（日）まで、ゆかた（甚平・和服もOK）で大宮盆栽美術館に来館すると観覧料が無料になります。

Yukata de Bonbi – Wear a Yukata and Admission is Free!

The "Yukata de Bonbi" event, which began on July 19th, has finally reached its final day.
Many people visited the museum in traditional Japanese clothing, making it a truly elegant summer. 🎐

大宮盆栽村100周年記念特別展「緑のフロンティア―大宮盆栽村100年―」（10/3～12/10）

大宮盆栽美術館では、大宮盆栽村の開村100周年を記念し、盆栽村の歴史を振り返る特別展を開催します。
　本展覧会では、地図や古写真など村の景観の移り変わりがわかるビジュアル資料に加え、盆栽村の開拓に尽力した盆栽園の第一世代の歩みを物語る資料や、盆栽作りの技術を伝える資料などを展示します。
また、現在の盆栽村の盆栽園から各園を代表する名品盆栽を展示し、各園の特徴や魅力とともに紹介します。

会場：大宮盆栽美術館　企画展示室、ロビー、コレクションギャラリー
会期：令和７年10月3日（金）～12月10日（水）
　　　※盆栽は週替わり
休館日：木曜日

Omiya Bonsai Village 100th Anniversary Special Exhibition: “The Green Frontier—100 Years of Omiya Bonsai Village—” (October 3–December 10)

The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is hosting a special exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Omiya Bonsai Village, reflecting on the village's history.
　This exhibition features visual materials such as maps and historical photographs illustrating the village's changing landscape, alongside documents chronicling the efforts of the first generation of bonsai gardeners who pioneered the village, and materials conveying the techniques of bonsai cultivation.
Furthermore, it displays representative masterpieces from the current bonsai gardens within the village, introducing each garden's unique characteristics and appeal.

Venue: Omiya Bonsai Art Museum’s Exhibition Room, Lobby, and Collection Gallery
Dates: Friday, October 3rd - Wednesday, December 10th
*Bonsai displays change weekly

黒塗りの盆上に石を建て、白砂で山水景を描く縮景芸術「盆石」。
9名が織りなす、伝書（お手本）に基づいた景をご堪能ください。

Bonseki are beautiful miniature landscapes crafted with stones and white sand arranged on a black tray.

7月19日から始まった「ゆかたde盆美」も、いよいよ最終日となりました。
たくさんの方に和服でご来館いただき、とても風流な夏となりました🎐
ご来館いただいたみなさま、ありがとうございました！

本日令和7年8月31日（日）まで、ゆかた（甚平・和服もOK）で大宮盆栽美術館に来館すると観覧料が無料になります。
今日も暑くなりそうですが、体調にお気をつけて、ぜひぜひお越しください！

Yukata de Bonbi – Wear a Yukata and Admission is Free!

The "Yukata de Bonbi" event, which began on July 19th, has finally reached its final day.
Many people visited the museum in traditional Japanese clothing, making it a truly elegant summer. 🎐
Thank you to everyone who participated!

Until today, Sunday, August 31st, 2025, admission to the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is free if you visit wearing a yukata (jinbei and traditional Japanese clothing are also acceptable).
It looks like it's going to be another hot day today, so please take care of yourself and come visit!
