Announcement: Children’s Summer Break at the Bonsai Museum Bonsai Voting Results

During our Children’s Summer Break at the Bonsai Museum, we asked guests to pick a favorite bonsai out of ten displayed. Below is a report of the results. 

We had a total of 2045 votes. Thank you to all who participated!


#1 Ezo Spruce (A-093)

This piece, featuring several Ezo spruces planted together in a large pot, evokes the image of a pristine forest.

 

#2 Japanese Juniper named Buko (A-023)

The split trunk and the bent tips of branches evoke the wildness of nature and the tree’s inherent vitality.

 

#3 Japanese White Pine named Uzushio (A-017)

A-017_五葉松「うず潮」の写真

The intensely swirling shari, true to its name (lit. whirling tides), is a sight to behold.
